Dear audience, guests, artists, organizers, and patrons of BRAMAT,
That long-awaited moment in the Brama calendar is almost here — the time when we gather once again to celebrate and meet in Goleniów. We warmly invite you to the 26th edition of the Goleniów Theatre Meetings BRAMAT 2025.
Last year, we marked a quarter-century of this Goleniów festival of theatre and art — a perfect occasion for reflection, evaluation, and questioning the meaning, necessity, and future directions of this unique event. Year by year, BRAMAT becomes part of the cultural legacy not only of Goleniów, but of Poland, Europe, and Teatr Brama itself.
This year, we turn a new page in the story of BRAMAT. A chapter dedicated to exploring and shaping our identity — the identity of a place, a region, a theatre, a culture. We want to ask bold questions about the future while holding fast to tradition.
We’re excited to host extraordinary performances and events from Poland and abroad. We’ll be opening space for conversations about ageism, stories of a new Europe, and the kind of theatre the world needs today. This edition will also feature the School of Theatre Criticism, organized by the Teatr Nie-Taki Foundation.
We’ve invited artists well-known to our Goleniów audience, as well as new voices who will cross our threshold for the very first time. As always, BRAMAT will delight with the richness and quality of its programme — from theatre and concerts to films, exhibitions, street happenings, and shared moments of exchange.
We invite you to join the conversation, to rest, to co-create the Goleniów Theatre Meetings, and to immerse yourself in art with all your senses. Keep an eye out for us in the streets and spaces of our city.
