Knights, Ghosts, and Marshmallows – an evening with two shows in English for the whole family

Teatr Brama, together with the British Lung & a Half Full Theatre, invites you to an evening full of mysteries and thrills at Rampa Kultura!

On October 17th, two family-friendly theatrical performances presented in English await you, and in between them – a campfire and plenty of marshmallows to roast.

Admission to all events is free.

Both performances are intended for entire families and are suitable for audiences aged 7 and up (7+).

The plays will be performed in English.

Before each show, a short introduction in Polish will be presented so that everyone can follow the plot and enjoy the story.

17:00 • One Wondering Knight • Rampa Kultura A play by David Bolitho

One Wᵒ/ₐndering Knight is a tale full of imagination, crazy family fun, and absurd audience participation about how to be brave – especially when you have no idea what is happening or how you actually got here.

Hit the road with an absent-minded knight who wanders through stories and needs your help to tell them.

Meet knightly fools and their lost, ruthless monsters, face a beard-stealing giantess and her cunning helpers, and encounter an ancient Welsh lake monster who might not be what it seems.

One Wᵒ/ₐndering Knight is a fast-paced medieval show – for knights, princesses, and goblins of all ages.

In the show, you will find stories, songs, and dazzling displays of equestrian gymnastics* performed by our incredibly chatty bard.

*Real horses are not guaranteed.

All this – and much more – will be discovered in the dreams of a certain errant knight!

18:15 • Marshmallows by the Campfire • Rampa Kultura

Between the two shows, we invite everyone to a communal campfire. You will be able to roast marshmallows and share your own scary stories.

It will be a cozy moment to warm up, chat, and immerse yourself in a mysterious atmosphere before the next adventure begins…

19:00 • Dr Richard Schafer’s Travelling Cabinet of Curiosities: Spooky Stories from the Other Side! • Rampa Kultura A play by George Attwill

Lung & a Half Full Theatre invites you on an extraordinary journey to the world on the other side…

As part of our touring show, Dr. Richard Schafer – a famous collector of stories and antiques – has granted us access to his unique collection of rarest and most fascinating objects.

Objects that hide spooky stories just waiting to be discovered.

You, as participants of this extraordinary journey, will use mysterious divination tools, perform long-forgotten rituals, and then decide which of our blood-curdling tales we will manage to tell you before our expedition through the veil between worlds comes to an end.

Note: while we will make every effort to guide you safely back to the world of the living, we cannot guarantee the safety of those who stay too long or stray from the designated path.

Spooky Stories from the Other Side! is a storytelling-based show with a large dose of spooky humor and audience participation. It will thrill you, make you laugh, and give you the chills along the way.

The show is intended for entire families (suggested age: 7+). It contains mild scenes of peril and horror elements that may be unsuitable for very young children or particularly sensitive adults.

Ghosts will be aplenty, creatures full of treachery, spirits will join us on this phantom-filled night…
