Premiere BramaLAB – „Przeniesieni”

eatr Brama Youth Group Premiere Performance: “Przeniesieni” (The Displaced)

When: Tuesday, January 29, 2026, at 7:00 PM Where: Rampa Kultura & Twierdza Design, Dworcowa 1a, 72-100 Goleniów Admission Free

About the performance: The performance “Przeniesieni” was created at the intersection of two worlds: the memories of seniors – witnesses to post-war displacement – and the personal family histories of young actors. They meet on stage not to determine who remembers “more truly,” but to collectively attempt to answer a question that resonates particularly loudly in Goleniów: why does my home stand right here?

This is a play about uprooting and putting down new roots. About suitcases that were never fully unpacked. About homes that had to be “tamed.” But also about the power of community, about love transmitted despite war trauma, and about the fact that memory – even when painful – can become the foundation of identity rather than its burden.

It is a story about a journey. Not only the one marked on the maps of post-war Europe, but an internal journey – full of loss, hope, and rebuilding oneself anew.

This performance acts like an open door. It invites conversation – between the young and the old. Between the past and the present. Between where we come from and who we want to be. It leaves the viewer with a question that does not concern Goleniów exclusively: are we capable of hearing another person’s story in such a way that it becomes part of a shared home, and not just someone else’s tale?

“Przeniesieni” creates a space for this conversation – tender, nuanced, and necessary.
