~The performance questions the position, the journey, and the essence of the human being in a state of metamorphosis. Through a path of union, sacrifice, isolation and reflection, it often gives the feeling of internal rupture.
It is an attempt to touch the soul and a dissolution of the ego, eventually leading to a new form of consciousness. It begins with an honest intention towards authenticity and then becomes a conscious choice for complete self-exposure – the human need to exist genuinely, without hiding behind others.
The body functions as a vehicle for the face we construct – the journeys we choose.
The performance is about the human experience of journeys and relationships – a continuous movement between union and separation. The body, vulnerable and sincere, is transformed into a face that trembles and reveals itself. Through a state of exposure, balance is sought between who we are and who we can become.
It is an invitation to the audience to experience identities and relationships as identities in motion.
