A music ensemble works in conjunction with Teatr Brama in hosting traditional dance parties. A potancowka is a
combination of dance party and fading rural ritual which allows people to meet together to dance, sing and tap into the raw, spontaneous rhythm of life. It is a joy to experience the often
forgotten forms of play, dances and songs accompanied by traditional instruments, accordions, violin, wood/brass instruments and drums. The music, dances and games were taught to Teatr Brama by
friends that spent time travelling across Poland learning these traditions in an effort to save them from disappearing.
