“It’s impossible to put on paper experiences which are induced by this uncannily constructed performance, there are too many pieces. The simple, trance inducing rhythms, whether played on drums or bass guitar, unceasingly accompany the show carrying their vibration to the audience, connecting them physically to the flow of the performance (credit and praise should be given to acoustic engineers, Jacek Gałkiewicz and Tomasz Wyziński). The unending tension between high and low, archaic and modern builds a net of meanings, which happens to be surprisingly communicative. When from one side appears an aggressive repetitive, suggestive tragedy of history: “one more turn of the wheel – one more revolution”, from the other side – the enumeration, in which the world is as holy, as the asshole, Saint Peter, Saint Cohen, and the holy cocks of grandfathers. Jacewicz’s dialectics of caricature stances, stretched between pathos and cackle, happen to be already identified in the form of directing the story. They get turned around and become their own negation: instantly a song about the need of social involvement with the chorus of “we give a fuck” becomes an empty gesture of social media, and a womanly duet about pretending to gain advantages and indifference towards another man’s despair is read as a bitter confession of methods used to deal with sad reality.”
