Dear Spectators, Guests, Artists, Organizers, and Patrons of BRAMAT! Dear Friends, who co-created the previous editions by giving a piece of yourselves!
Brama has turned thirty. Behind us are stories that cannot be put on paper. Through theatre workshops, tours, and festivals, we have met tens of thousands of people and performed thousands of shows across six continents. We made mistakes, opened new gates, laughed, and cried. We regretted, we celebrated, we immersed ourselves in silence and frenetic fun. But every year, we opened our gates for you.
We invited friends from Goleniów and from all over the world. We created a ritual woven from performances, concerts, singing together, and sleepless nights. For three decades, Brama and the BRAMAT Festival have educated, shaped, and developed audiences and artists hailing from Goleniów, who today achieve enormous success. The city has become part of the European cultural community, and the artistic events have gained depth, courage, and significance year by year. In this area, Goleniów is well and widely recognized. We can be proud of this — and there are moments in life when we want to share this pride while blowing out 30 symbolic candles.
This year, we timidly look back. While creating the program, we sketched out consecutive scenes that will tell the story of Brama better than we could ever do with words. We invite you to meet with long-time friends, to immerse yourselves in the musical and theatrical inspirations that have accompanied us for years, and to peek into our future.
Our search does not end. Another decade of transformation awaits us. What is most important, however, remains exactly the same as it was in the beginning: our heart is the community that, year after year, with a smile, creates the gift of BRAMAT for you.
